If you are a COP group and you wish to network with our Barrie Police Service COP

group, please contact us in order to exchange information, program

materials, knowledge, and successes. If you would like assistance in

organizing your group, we will gladly share our knowledge and assist you to

make your COP program successful.

We firmly believe that our proven track record and training methods can be used by other cities – towns and municipalities to bring you the same success that we have seen, here in Barrie! Also, we are always open to learning others’ methods of patrolling to add to our success.

Our COP volunteer Coordinator has been with the Barrie Police Service COP

program since its inception and worked diligently to produce a training

manual which encompasses all areas of the program for new volunteers. During

COP "Information Nights", a PowerPoint presentation is used to inform

potential new volunteers in attendance.
